BAMBU.

Bamboom Cycle

FROM PLANT TO FABRIC

The bamboo plant (Moso-Bamboo) that is used for our textiles grows mainly in China and Taiwan.

Chemicals are used in the transformation process from plant to textile, as also for organic cotton and some food industries (e.g., coffee creamer).

Bamboo is easier to dye than cotton, and the amount of water and dyes needed for this operation are significantly less.

Bamboom Srl is exclusively supplied by strictly controlled and certified suppliers who guarantee the excellent quality of Bamboo fabric.

FUNCTIONS OF BAMBOO

A material that has unique and surprising characteristics:

ABSORBENT - Absorbs up to 3-4 times more than cotton.

BREATHABLE - Breathable due to the large open cell structure of bamboo fiber.

SUPER SOFT - As soft as cashmere and silk.

ANTIBACTERIAL - The bamboo plant has great antibacterial and antiseptic properties.

THERMOREGULATOR - Like wool, bamboo provides coolness in a warm environment and warmth in a cold environment.

ANTI-ALLERGIC - Bamboo is ideal for sensitive skin.

NATURAL DEODORANT - Bamboo fiber prevents moisture and sweat from accumulating on the skin.

UV PROTECTION-Bamboo contains honey pectin, which absorbs UV rays.

REDUCES STATIC ELECTRICITY - Bamboo fabric has a nice feel and acts like a second skin, for dry and chapped skin.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY - Due to the antibacterial properties of the bamboo plant, there is no need to use chemicals or pesticides during processing.

WASHING AND MAINTENANCE

The more it is washed, the softer the Bamboo garment becomes. The composition is often combined with a lower percentage of cotton to give the fabric more stability. For example, the clothing fabric is 70% bamboo and 30% cotton, to make the garment still in good condition after numerous washes.
